How to get your MP3’s playing
The ‘Perfect’ Fedora 7 setup (I wouldn’t totally agree but hey)
As always my NVidia 6600GT caused problems and in order to utilize the graphical setup I had to add vga=791 to the initial command line arguments for setup. With that done and following Mauriat Miranda’s steps for installing the NVidia drivers I had dual screen back up in minutes.
NTFS-3G was installed by default which was nice.
Despite the previous warning someone has successfully migrated from Fedora Core 6 to Fedora 7 via Yum
Although I love the new shininess there was one little hiccup; the ‘upgrade’ left an old FC6 Kernel as the default boot option for Grub so the next time round of booting it was not happy!
