This link dump is geared towards stuff that made today a hell of a lot easier to get through:
Splunk is software that indexes and allows you to search all your server logs from any application in real time.
MRTG which was originally for Routers (Hence Multi Router Traffic Graph) can be an invaluable tool for monitoring what has been happening.
MonYog is an excellent tool that allows you to write SQL statements as if you were at the console but with the added benefit of GUI tools and shortcuts to features and regularly performed actions.
Caffeine - Enough said
Putty shouldn’t need any introduction, it is a saviour to those of us stuck on Windows desktops.
DAG and his RPM collection are an example of all that is good about the Open Source community. Thank the man.
There are probably a few other things that I’m missing but its 1am now and I need sleep. If the caffeine pixies will let me.
